TTL meaning:
Time to live or TTL is setting the time that one information is accepted as “current”. After the time elapsed, the data will no longer be current, and it will need to be updated. The older information gets scraped, and the server refreshes with the new one.
The Domain Name System (DNS) uses TTL for each of the DNS records. Each Recursive DNS server keeps the records the time that the TTL indicates. The time is in seconds. After that amount of seconds, the data must be renewed.
You can put 43200 seconds for TXT and CNAME records and small numbers for MX records. Set the TTLs the way it works best for you.
Simply put, the TTL is a time period indicating when should the DNS cache be refreshed.
